Since the hotel at the Vienna Airport was expensive and did not have consistently good reviews, I found this off-site location, which is only eight minutes away by hotel shuttle.
Showing slides, setting up the projector and screen, is a bother. In 1998 I bought my first camcorder and now mostly take videos, which I put onto VCR tapes and, since 2004, onto DVDs.
Are any ITN readers looking for a “home” for their slides of England? I’m interested.
About 10 years ago I became penpals with a fellow dollhouse miniaturist. We are in touch constantly, sending packages and gifts to each other every month, talking on the phone at least once a month and e-mailing each other all the time. We “know” about each other’s families. We have become “family.”
The only thing missing is never being in the same room with each other. For various reasons, that will probably never happen.
