Horse riding holidays are offered in seven European countries plus Peru and Tanzania by Equestrian Escapes, Ltd. Horses, gear and instruction are included, with lodging from B&Bs to self-catering cottages. 

Example — the 3-day, 2-night “Explore Dartmoor” package includes riding lessons and morning and afternoon trail rides in southwest England’s Dartmoor National Park. For beginning riders, the cost is £245 (near $373) if staying in a B&B or £325 ($495) in a country house. Experienced riders, with more challenging rides, pay £325, B&B, or £395 ($602), country house.
