On MALAYSIA, January-February ’06. . . • We took a tour to Borneo with smarTours (Newark, NJ; 800/337-7773 or www.smartours.com), Jan. 28-Feb. 11. We travel often, but this tour was one of the best. Malaysia is just beautiful. The people are very friendly and much fun. The flora, due to the climate, is lovely and colorful.

From Seoul, SOUTH KOREA, Sept. 12, ’05. . .

• Hotel Incheon Airport. I made my reservation on the Internet after reading reviews of hotels close to the airport. I had a one-night layover. The cost of the room, $89, included airport pickup and dropoff.

The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and large, with a nice bathroom. The service was friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.

The “Route of the Maya” started from Miami and covered San Salvador in El Salvador; Copan in Honduras; the colonial city of Antigua as well as Lake Atitlán and Tikal in Guatamela, and Caracol in Belize. • Laurus Travel (3195 Granville St., Ste. 45, Vancouver, B.C., Canada V6H 3K2) arranged our trip to China, May 18-June 2, with China Odyssey Tours (Guangxi, China; visit www. chinaodysseytours.com).
