Funniest Thing for May

On safari in Botswana with Ker & Downey in July 1999, my husband and I arrived at Pom Pom Camp and were escorted to our tent. It was a beautiful, delightful home for the next three days.

Tired and dusty from the trip, I headed for the bathroom to wash my hands. Oh, my! A real sink, white fluffy towels — even a pretty bar of bright-green soap. I reached to pick it up — and it jumped across the sink, under the tent and when last seen was headed for the pond.

You could have heard my scream all the way back to the USA!
