Rainforest by Segway

Scoot through rainforest in Queensland’s Lamington National Park on an all-terrain Segway. To ride a Segway, you must have closed shoes and weigh 100 to 265 pounds, with no heart or balance conditions, etc.

Reserve ahead. Two Segway tours are offered daily, the first (minimum age, 10) a 30-minute training session on the retreat’s front lawn for $30. The second (age 14 and up; ages 14-17 need guardian), at $99, begins with training and proceeds on the 90-minute “Moran’s Falls” tour, exploring creek crossings, a eucalyptus forest and Moran’s Falls, with views of the Great Dividing Range.
