Picasso in Barcelona

Here are two temporary exhibitions at Barcelona’s Picasso Museum (Montcada 15-23, 08003 Barcelona, Spain; phone +34 93 256 30 00, www.museupicasso.bcn.cat/en):

• “Cubism and War. The Crystal in the Flame,” Oct. 20, 2016-Jan. 29, 2017, focuses on three artists living in France during WWI — Picasso, Juan Gris and Diego Rivera — with 60 Cubist works from 1914 to 1919.

• “Mythologies, Graphic Work in the Collection of the Museum,” Nov. 24, 2016-March 20, 2017, will display Picasso’s compositions on Ancient Greek mythology, with etchings, lithographs, linocuts  and works done using other techniques.

The museum is open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Tues., Wed. & Fri.-Sun. and 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Thurs. The entry fee is 4.50 (near $5) for temporary exhibits or 14 for temporary plus permanent collections.
