airberlin international flights end

German airline airberlin (www.airberlin.com/en) declared bankruptcy in August, and on Oct. 15 it ceased flying on all of its international routes after its aircraft-leasing company requested the return of most of airberlin’s operating airplanes. Lufthansa is currently in talks to purchase airberlin and take over its routes.
